Welcome to FBC Gilmer

At First Baptist Church Gilmer, our mission is to Engage, Equip, and Empower people to know and follow Jesus Christ. We strive to be a church where you’ll find biblical teaching, heartfelt worship, authentic friendships, and opportunities to grow in your walk with the Lord.

From the moment you arrive, our hope is that you’ll feel welcomed, encouraged, and at home. We’d love the opportunity to meet you, answer any questions you may have, and help you get connected.

I invite you and your family to join us for worship this Sunday at 11 AM.

We look forward to meeting you and worshiping with you!

What to Expect on Sunday

We’ve made parking easy! Our main parking lot is located just across the street from the sanctuary, only a short walk to the entrance. Handicap-accessible parking is available in front of the church and along Trinity Street. If the main lot is full, you’ll find plenty of additional parking in the office and gym lots on both sides of Cass Street. If you need any assistance, our friendly greeters will be happy to help you find the best place to park!

Our Key Beliefs

At First Baptist Church Gilmer, we believe the Bible is God’s inspired and inerrant Word, our final authority for faith and life. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Savior and Lord, and that salvation is found by grace through faith in Him alone. Everything we do is centered on knowing Christ, growing in His Word, and sharing the hope of the Gospel.
